Under 15s KYL   3-2    Margate Youth FC

Having made the long journey to the coast, Bredhurst showed no signs of tiredness, starting strongly against an in form Margate side.
Good work early on down the right hand side by Jaden Wilson created a chance for Ozzy Hewett at the front post, who blasted his shot over. Hewett was put through again a minute later but his tame effort was easily gathered by the keeper.
Eddie Pattenden was introduced up front with Jack Piper after 15 minutes, and the change brought an immediate impact. Piper flicked on for Pattenden, whose first shot was saved but he coolly tucked in the rebound to give Bredhurst a well deserved lead. From a James Geddes corner, Harry Paul header against the cross bar, but it was Pattenden again who barged through the middle from a fantastic through ball from Riley Beaumont to slot in the second after 34 minutes.
Bredhurst looked to be in complete control at this point, but credit to Margate they hit back immediately with their winger showing some good work down the left, to find an unmarked centre forward to tap in from a yard out.
Bredhurst looked dazed by this and were caught out a minute later when miscommunication allowed the Margate striker to slot home an equaliser on the stroke of half time.
With the chance to regroup at half-time, Bredhurst came out strongly again. Geddes and Beaumont were winning the midfield battles, and Paul and Josh McIlheron were comfortably dealing with some physical Margate attacks.
Another Geddes corner gave Aaron Field a free header, but he couldn't keep the header down unfortunately.
For all Bredhurst's dominance, the game seemed to be heading for a draw. However, with four minutes to go Ben Sherlock, who had caused problems throughout down the left hand side, picked up a sloppy clearance and charged into the box before unleashing a vicious left foot shot beating the keeper low down to his left.
Bredhurst were able to see out the final few minutes to secure back to back victories in their first two league games of the season.
