"This will be my fifth season managing and coaching Bredhurst Juniors Youth which has been a real pleasure watching this team grow individually and as a team and it’s so rewarding working with the boys on the training pitch and seeing them take the training methods into games. My coaching philosophy is to develop the boys individually and as a team in a positive, creative environment, encouraging the boys to express themselves as much as they can and show good work ethic and most importantly to enjoy themselves.. I got involved coaching the team as my son Kieran plays in the team and when we started up as U7’s my decision to manage/coach Kieran and his friends was the best footballing decision I have ever made. We had another very successful season last season winning a number of matches playing the right way and were finalists of the trophy event winning lots of admirers along the way with our style of football. Due to the season we had we were invited to represent this area in a national competition in Nottingham competing with the best grass roots teams across the country which was a great achievement. We have started the 9 a side season very strongly and have made some great signings to add to the squad from last season.. I am very lucky to be able to coach and manage a very talented group of boys who have all become great friends. Very exciting times ahead for the team as I aim to keep driving them forward both individually and as a team towards Kent youth football .
We train on a Thursday evening at Star Meadow, Gillingham, 5:30-6:30 and our matches are on Sunday mornings.
I would like to thank the parents for the continued great support, my assistant Mark Crofts, our sponsors Tyrestar and BE Martin & Son Ltd & Michael Dodsworth of the Little Buddies charity who has provided training kits and the team away kit.
Up the Bredhurst".
